Whether building from a kit or from scratch, Rossel covers everything from tools, wood selection, joinery and finishing. More than just a "how to book", it is one of the few books that removes the shrowd of mystery surrounding "lofting" (to lay out a full-sized working drawing of the lines and contours of a ship's hull). A fine practical guide that deserves a spot on the boat builder's bookshelf.
