Description
The incredible durability of Crown’s elite Powdered Metallurgy tooling is now available in a 5-piece set! These top-quality gouges are made by compressing and sintering powdered metals in a hydraulic press. The result is a cutting edge that lasts up to five times as long as conventional High Speed Steel. Hardened to between 66 and 68 Rockwell, the gouges boast superior wear resistance, edge retention, and excellent sharpening qualities. This set includes a 3/4 roughing gouge, 3/8 spindle gouge, 3/8 bowl gouge, 3/16 parting tool and 3/4 skew chisel. Each gouge is fitted with a comfortable and substantial black ash handle and a heavy brass ferrule. Made in Sheffield, England.
