An essential addition to every turner's toolkit, it incorporates a spring loaded point in stainless steel and a set of razor sharp teeth that bite into the workpiece. Provides added security for the novice turner by allowing you to vary the degree of bite to the point where kick back of the turning chisel is eliminated. The Stebcentre may also be removed without the need to stop and re-start the lathe. Simply wind back the tail stock and the piece can be withdrawn safely.Size refers to drive face diameter. Comes in diameters of 1/2", 7/8", and 1-1/4". Made in England.
