Ask a Woodworker
I am making a 6 ft diameter 1 inch thick round table and would like your advise on the size of pedestals I should have. Is it better to have two pedestals, or will one large one be sufficient?
The max prudent diameter for use with a single pedestal is 72", so you
should be fine with one large unit similar to those used on popular oak
dining tables.
