Details shaped by hand and eye define the style.
This frame (for a picture here but it could also serve for a mirror) was built for a class to teach lay out and use of shaped details. In several of the homes designed by the Greenes items as small as light switches and picture frames were included. Many of the frames have the basic design seen here: The stiles are within the rails and the thicker rails extend past the stiles.
