The 2″ Flexcut Pro Roughing Knife features a robust full flat ground sheepsfoot blade in precision heat-treated 1095 steel, polished to a brilliant mirror finish. It also has a new handle design for improved grip comfort and control. This knife excels at handling heavy preliminary stock removal work. The longer blade length, slim profile and detail tip provide plenty of blade to cover a wide variety of heavy cuts in various stock sizes while maintaining full control. The Pro Series is Flexcut’s most precise and durable carving tips yet. Every knife in the collection features a larger clearance between the choil and heel of the cutting edge so you will have a more consistent stropping experience keeping you sharper for longer. The premium unvarnished Cherry handle has flat sidewalls, bold facets and curves in just the right places making the knife an absolute pleasure to hold. The bulk under the blade has been removed to eliminate interferences on tight cuts, and they added an index finger swell over the spine for extra power and superior control.
