These self-centering bits and sleeve from HIGHPOINT solve a very perplexing problem for box makers and any other craftsmen using small hinges and those pesky small brass screws. Developed at our store in Dayton, Ohio, to help in their box making classes, the bits and sleeve make installing hinges a snap. The Micro Center Bit Set includes two brass sleeves and two drill bits. The 3/8″-diameter brass sleeves taper with four equal sides; the soft brass allows you to easily customize the end for your specific hinge application. Inside sleeve diameters are 1.18 mm and 1.7 mm that allow optimal centering of the #56 (1.18 mm) quick change drill bit or the 1.7 mm quick change drill bit. The quick change style bits not only allow for ease of use in your cordless drill, but can be used by hand in softer woods or very tight applications. Set includes one of each drill bits as replacements. Additional replacement bits sold separately (#163151).
