This heavy-duty chuck from is designed for larger lathes with a 16″ or greater swing and is fully capable of comfortably handling work up to 14″ in diameter. The 4-1/2″ diameter body, loaded with #2 jaws and Taper-Lock Adaptor (sold separately), weighs in at 6.11 pounds and is an excellent choice for larger size projects. Nickel plated body is corrosion resistant. A self-centering key mates to a hardened scroll ring, which allows for smooth one-hand operation to provide a powerful clamping ratio of 5:1. Wide selection of accessory jaws are available to suit any turning need. Stronghold Chuck comes with Chuck Body and No. 2 Jaws (mounted), Chuck Key, Woodworm Screw, 4 mm Hex Key, and Taper-Lock Adaptor Screws. Taper-Lock Adaptor sold separately.
