The patented Dust Collector Hood is a major advance in enhancing the operation and user experience of the PantoRouter. It installs with two supplied screws in just a few minutes and is compatible with all PantoRouters. By flipping the hinged section open, two wrenches can be used for the Bosch 1617 EVS and most other routers. The rotor lock for changing bits with the Porter Cable or DeWalt routers is also accessible from the top by opening the hinged section. The Dust Collection Hood is included with the ProPack and All-In PantoRouter Package. It is not shipped with the Basic PantoRouter. Most any vacuum can be adapted to work using hose fittings available at Woodcraft. Our non-scientific assessment is over 95% of dust and shavings are controlled with the Dust Collector Hood!
