Each finely ground, expertly shaped blade is paired with a Plum wood handle, thoughtfully designed by carvers to provide a natural, comfortable grip. The Schaller knives are crafted with a crowned blade and a rounded back, ensuring the blade stays clear of your workpiece. They are designed specifically for carving concave curves and flat surfaces. Ground with a straight cutting edge, Canard knives were originally designed for fine chip carving work, but have quickly become very popular for all carving styles. The set includes a heavy-duty four-pocket tool roll. The blade length for the small knives is 1-3/16″ with an overall length of 6-1/4″. The blade length for the large knives is 1-3/4″ with an overall length of 6-3/4″.
