Rikon’s , was designed specifically at the request of pen turners who need a sturdy, dedicated machine for their craft. This lathe is constructed of cast iron so vibration is not a factor, unlike lathes made of aluminum. Five speed ranges cover the bases for Boring & Drilling barrel holes, roughing out pen billets, turning to shape and finishing. The Rikon 70-105 Pen Lathe is compact and lightweight, making it ideal for use in small workshops or at home.
