The Rikon12″ Variable-Speed Drill Press – Model:Model 30-212VS,will sit on your bench but provide the power and accuracy of a much larger unit. The Vari-Speed pulley system allows for quick and easy changes on the fly to match the density of your material and the style and diameter of your drill bit. To select a speed range (150 to 700 RPM or 600 to 2800 RPM), move the drive belt between pulleys and use a control arm to set a precise speed within that range. A digital display gives you a readout of the speed, and the powerful motor provides sufficient torque at low rpm to avoid the risk of stalling. Additional features include a 5/8″ chuck, LED work light, and a laser with X-Y guides. This drill press will significantly add to any shop without taking up floor space.
