The Tribe – Damascus Fixed Blade Knife is the leader of the Sarge Damascus stainless steel collection. Designed with intricate detail throughout it is obvious that this knife sets itself apart from the rest. The round rosewood handle features a decorative bolster and polished finger guard. The harpoon style blade shape is capable of easily controlled cuts and offers a little extra leverage as a thumb can be placed upon the ramp allowing extra downforce during cutting. Compared to a drop point blade, the harpoon’s tip is much sharper. The most highlighted feature is the blade itself that is composed of 93 layers of hand forged Damascus steel and a 9Cr18MoV center layer steel base. Jimping is the rigid edges shown on the spine of the blade providing better grip and control of the blade. The jimping will prevent your hand from slipping when thumb rests on the spine for fine detail work. Fine craftsmanship is also visible in the woven pattern of the hand made top grain brown leather sheath. The sheath includes a belt loop and snap closure.
