Each 2/83″ thick sheet measures 12″ in length and 4-1/2″ to 6-1/2″ in width. The convenient 3 square foot packs are the perfect size for marquetry, inlay repair, accents on furniture and any other small jobs around the shop. Walnut burl is a classic beauty. It is used on everything from fine furniture to automobiles. The rich brown color is frequently accented with a light coat of penetrating stain which brings out the figure in these wood veneer sheets. Vintage walnut furniture pieces are usually very warm in color. This is due to Walnut being one of only a handful of species that lightens with exposure to UV light. This lightening process can take months, years, and even decades to achieve.
