Product Description
In 1926, artist Wharton Esherick built his studio near two poplar trees, which inspired him. In 2010 one of those trees came down. The Wharton Esherick Museum invited a range of artists to create original works honoring the tree and Esherick’s own use of poplar. The over 120 color photos in this book reveal the stunning results: 43 works of art including woodcut prints, furniture, and sculpture.
