The Robert Sorby Inside/Outside Caliper acts as both an inside caliper and outside caliper. Inside-outside calipers are designed not only for wall thickness but also inside dimensions like the size of an aperture. The special double end design transfers a measurement from one tip to the other tip, so thicknesses can be figured without removing the caliper from the work in progress.
