The NOVA 5016 Tailstock Adaptor (adaptor only)fits all NOVA lathes, other lathes with a 2MT tailstock, and NOVA Chucks with 1-1/4″- 8 Threads. The tailstock adaptor allows for perfect alignment when remounting work to turn the other side in dead or live modes. This saves you time and material which is normally wasted when truing up. In live mode it can also be used to support work for a chuck, such as vacuum chucking. It has 1-1/4″ 8 TPI RH threads, and is made from medium tensile carbon steel to provide maximum structural strength. Adaptor only, pictures #2 and #3 show adaptor installed in a tail stock and with a chuck in use. Tail Stock, live center or chuck is not included.
