This Kit from Tormek contains everything wood turners need to shape and sharpen turning tools. The Tormek system delivers a superior edge faster and easier than any method and you never remove more steel than necessary. The SVD-186 R gouge allows the sharpening of fingernail shaped woodturning gouges to a razor sharpness. The high level of control enables you to exactly replicate your chosen profile. This can also sharpen woodcarving tools with complex shapes such as curved or bent carving gouges and V-tools. The SVS-50 is named the “Multi Jig”. This jig sharpens square and skew turning chisels with straight or curved edges as well as parting tools, roughing gouges and gouges and chisels for woodcarving. SVD-110 Tool Rest provides an extended support surface and is ideal for sharpening turning scrapers and special tools for woodcarving, such as large scorps and inshaves. It may also be used for cabinet scrapers and hollowing tools. The LA-120 Profiled Honing Wheels mount to the outside of the standard honing wheel and provide 1/8” Radius for gouges and 60 degree profile for v-tools.
