This Whiteside 1/8″ Edge Beading bitcreates a bead on the edge of your work piece to soften the edge. The pattern leavesa half rounded edge that is 1/8″ in width. Making two passes on opposing faces will make a 3/4″ bead on the edge of your material. This edge profile is a hallmark of fine craftsmanship similar to what is found in Federal & Queen Anne pieces. The included rabbet profile allows you to create a lip in addition to the bead in one pass. This is useful for creating an additional shadow line detail for your work piece or as an integrated stop for a door.
