Compared to the popular MP260 4-Sided Planer Moulder, the MP360 features a larger processing capacity, higher hourly production levels, faster feed rates, standard infeed and outfeed tables, and more upgrades. The MP360 features two horizontal cutterheads – the 20″ (510 mm) wide top cutterhead and the 16″ (410 mm) wide bottom cutterhead, as well as two side cutterheads, each 2″ (50 mm) high. One of these side cutterheads is mounted on a fixed spindle, while the other one is movable. The MP360 side cutters can be upgraded to 4″ (100 mm), 5″ (130 mm), or 6″ (160 mm) to increase the height capacity for 4-sided processing. The 6″ (160 mm) side cutter requires an additional spindle extension. All four cutters can be fitted with planing knives or moulding profile knives to produce flooring, planed boards, crown moulding, cabinet trim, paneling, door and window frames, furniture components, and more! With the 2 horizontal cutters and 2 side cutters, planing or moulding material on all four sides is completed in one pass.
