Surprisingly simple to make, this 18th Century pedestal table is an authentic reproduction. Among its features are the slightly dished top and graceful, but subtle tapered legs. The top can be carved by hand or made on a lathe with the faceplate on the outside of the lathe head. The full size drawing shows the curve of the legs, as well as the turning profile.All joinery is shown in actual size while curved workpieces are all in full size.
