Our WoodRiver® 120-grit CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) Coated Grinding Wheel is used for grinding steel of all kinds and enjoys a distinct advantage over a traditional Aluminum Oxide (AO) grinding wheel. The CBN coating is tough and will never load up or require dressing to remain flat, plus wheel balance isn’t an issue because the wheel is machined from a steel plate. The CBN coating and the steel wheel work together to keep heat at bay, so bluing a tool is less likely, and the coating will last a really long time.
