Although it might not get much use as a telephone stand these days you’ll find it’s a great bench with practical storage built in. The case is built from plywood with tongue and dado joinery so it goes together quickly from the start. The face frame is assembled with pocket screws that add to the fast build. Then you can add the details like the shop-made molding and stylish pre-made bun feet.
